IV Iron can get you feeling better fast!
Understanding Iron and Your Health
Iron plays a vital role in producing healthy red blood cells and supporting oxygen transport throughout the body. Low iron levels can contribute to fatigue, weakness, and changes in mood or focus — though these symptoms can have many possible causes.
The first step is always a comprehensive assessment to determine whether iron deficiency may be contributing to how you feel.
If you’ve been referred by a naturopathic doctor or are interested in iron assessment, please call our clinic to begin the process.
Because iron support is based on lab evaluation, online booking is not available for this service.
Our reception team will:
Record your request and create or update your patient chart.
Ask if you’ve had recent bloodwork completed (within the past month).

Not an Expense”
Initial Iron IV Consult
30 mins - $150
Meet Our IV Doctors and Nurse Practitioner
-
Your Initial IV Consult will consist of the Nurse Practitioner doing a review of your current health, as well as any goals that bring you to IV Therapy. Upon approval of bloodwork, the next steps will be outlined to get started with IV Iron at Nature Doctors
-
If you have copies of recent bloodwork results it is advantageous to bring these along.
-
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to have an IV immediately following your consult. IV appointments are booked during specific shifts, so it doesn’t always work out to have an IV the same day.
-
Most insurance companies provide some sort of coverage for naturopathic care. You will need to look into your specific plan for details. We will provide you with a detailed invoice that has your doctor’s licensing information on it; it is your responsibility to submit the invoice to your insurance company.
It is recommended to look into whether your insurance will cover the cost of IV Therapy.
-
You will fill out a consent form prior to your first IV. The Nurse Practitioner will review any concerns you may have and explain the process.
-
Yes! We ask that you eat prior to your IV. You can bring a drink and snacks with you to your appointment as well.
-
The time varies from patient to patient but generally 1.5 hours.
-
Dress comfortably. Feel free to bring a cozy blanket or slippers (although we do have some in the clinic too!). A book or earbuds to listen to music are a good idea to help you relax.
-
We do not offer direct billing. You will receive a receipt upon payment with all the required information to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
